Refund and Returns Policy

Thank you for purchasing from SCIQOS Publishing & Consulting UG (haftungsbeschränkt) d/b/a 10x Software Engineering. If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we’re here to help. Our products can be returned under certain conditions as detailed below.

Digital Products

All sales of digital products, such as downloadable e-books in PDF or EPUB format, are final. Since these digital products are instantly downloadable upon purchase, they are not returnable, exchangeable, or refundable. We recommend contacting us for assistance if you experience any issues receiving or downloading our products.

Printed Books

You have 14 calendar days to return a printed book from the date you received it. To be eligible for a return, your book must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, and in its original packaging.

In the case of a book being returned in slightly damaged condition, we reserve the right to determine a fair value of the product on return and may offer only a partial refund.

Please note that the shipping cost and the return shipping cost are not refundable, and must be borne by the customer.

Merchandise Products

You have 14 calendar days to return a merchandise product (like hand bands, T-shirts, etc.) from the date you received it. The item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, and in its original packaging.

In the case of merchandise being returned in slightly damaged condition, we reserve the right to determine a fair value of the product on return and may offer only a partial refund.

Please note that the shipping cost and the return shipping cost are not refundable, and must be borne by the customer.

Sale Products

Any products sold at a discount, on sale, or using a promotional code are considered final sale and will not be eligible for returns, exchanges, or refunds. All sales of discounted items are final.

Please ensure you review your order carefully before it’s placed to avoid any misunderstandings or disappointments. If you have questions about a product, please contact us before making the purchase. We are here to assist and ensure you are confident in your purchase.

Consulting Services

Given the nature of the services, returns, refunds or exchanges are not applicable to the purchase of consulting services. These services are delivered on a time and materials basis and are charged as per the scope of work agreed upon at the start of the project.

Refunds

Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned item. We will immediately notify you on the status of your refund after inspecting the item.

If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your credit card (or original method of payment). You will receive the credit within a certain amount of days, depending on your card issuer’s policies.

Shipping

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
